Stained Glass

Create timeless designs or push the boundaries with contemporary stained glass creations. Our workshops cover traditional flat panels and vibrant suncatchers and explore innovative 3D shapes and modern techniques. Our expert instructors will guide you as you master essential skills like cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering. You can embrace traditional techniques or experiment with modern designs to create something truly unique.

What’s Included in Our Stained Glass Classes:

Learn the fundamentals of stained glass through hands-on practice in cutting, grinding, soldering, and assembly. Students will create a project up to 12×12″, with the option to purchase additional glass for larger designs or to continue during our free practice hours.

We focus on technique over size, smaller, more detailed designs allow for more skill-building. Some projects may include lead came framing for finishing.

Design is a key part of the process as you’ll explore colour theory, layout, and are encouraged to bring design ideas or inspiration with you to class.

Glass Fusing

Discover the captivating process of glass fusing, where layers of glass are carefully arranged and then fused together in a kiln to create unique and expressive pieces. Explore techniques such as layering, slumping, and shaping moulds to craft functional items like bowls, plates, or other imaginative creations.

Our workshops not only cover the basics but also delve into more advanced techniques, giving you the freedom to experiment with textures, patterns, and colours. With expert guidance and high-quality tools, you’ll gain the confidence to bring your ideas to life in truly creative ways.

What’s Included in Our Glass Fusing Classes:

Each week in this hands-on, project-based class, you’ll explore new techniques and creative approaches to fusing. Including cutting, layering, slumping, and kiln forming. Rather than working on just one piece, students will create multiple projects over the course of the session—ranging from functional items to decorative artworks.

Classes emphasize skill-building and experimentation, encouraging you to play with colour, texture, and form. You’ll also learn how to finish and assemble your pieces so they’re display- or use-ready, perfect for your home or as unique handmade gifts.

All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary. Just bring your curiosity and creative spirit!
